Hannah Center Adopts New Website Domain to Strengthen Nonprofit Identity
Central Wisconsin organization transitions to hannahcenterinc.org to better reflect 501(c)(3) mission serving women and families
MARSHFIELD, Wis., Sept. 3, 2025 – Hannah Center Inc., a nonprofit organization serving women experiencing crisis and homelessness, has transitioned to a new website domain at https://hannahcenterinc.org to better align their digital presence with their 501(c)(3) mission. With clear nonprofit credentials reflected in their web address, Hannah Center’s services are more discoverable online for women seeking support and for community partners and donors.
The domain change from hannahcenter.com to hannahcenterinc.org reflects the organization's commitment to transparency and strengthens recognition of their nonprofit status.
"Our new domain immediately identifies us as the nonprofit organization we've been for more than 30 years," said Connie Teska, president of the board at Hannah Center. "The .org extension clearly communicates to donors that we're a legitimate 501(c)(3) organization where 100 percent of contributions directly support our mission of providing recovery and hope to families in need."
Founded in 1993, Hannah Center has served hundreds of women and families through their Hannah Center residential facilities in Marshfield and Wisconsin Rapids, Hannah's Caring Closet community resource center, and crisis support services for women in the community. The organization operates primarily through private donations.
The new domain enhances the organization's professional identity within the nonprofit sector while making their services more discoverable online. All previous website links will automatically redirect to the new domain, ensuring seamless access to services and resources. Email addresses are transitioning to @hannahcenterinc.org effective immediately, though the organization's previous email addresses will continue to function during the transition to ensure seamless communication.Hannah Center encourages supporters to update their bookmarks and share the new web address when referring others to their services.
The organization continues accepting donations of baby and children's items for Hannah's Caring Closet and welcomes new volunteers to support their mission.
