Central Wisconsin Nonprofit Serving Women in Crisis Invites Community to Annual Fundraiser and Calls for Sponsors
Party at the Ranch brings a country-western evening to Spencer on September 29 to raise $75,000 for women and children in crisis
Hannah Center Inc., a nonprofit women's crisis support organization serving central Wisconsin for more than 30 years, will host its 2026 fall fundraiser, Party at the Ranch, on Tuesday, September 29, at Exceptional Occasions Banquet and Conference Center in Spencer. The community evening — featuring a pig roast pulled pork dinner, country line dancing with lessons, live and silent auctions, and live entertainment — aims to raise $75,000 to sustain safe housing and support services for women and children facing crisis.
Doors open at 5:30 PM, with dinner served at 6:00 PM and the event closing at 8:30 PM. Tickets are $50 per person and must be purchased by September 22 at hannahcenterinc.org/buy-tickets-fall-fundraiser.
Guests can expect an evening that feels more celebration than ceremony. A family-style pig roast dinner (with allergy-friendly and non-pork options) kicks off at 6:00 PM, followed by country line dancing lessons for all skill levels, mechanical bull rides, and a live auction featuring travel, getaways, and one-of-a-kind items. Western wear is welcome — boots, denim, bolo ties, and hats encouraged.
Hannah Center is also calling on central Wisconsin businesses to join the evening as sponsors. Opportunities range from $500 to a first-of-its-kind Premier Matching Gift Sponsorship — a commitment to match every donation made during the event, up to $10,000 total. The Premier Sponsor's name will be announced by presenters each time a gift is received, making their generosity a live part of the program. Additional tiers include the Ranch Legacy Partner ($5,000), Gold Spur ($3,000), Gathering Table ($1,000), and Boot Scootin' ($500), each offering complimentary tickets and event recognition. Full details and the sponsorship commitment form are available at hannahcenterinc.org/fall-fundraiser-sponsorships. The sponsorship deadline is September 1, 2026. Businesses interested in the Premier Matching Gift opportunity are encouraged to contact Kim Bousum directly at (715) 387-6300 or kimb@hannahcenterinc.org.
Since 1993, Hannah Center has provided women facing homelessness, domestic abuse, substance recovery, and crisis pregnancy with a safe place to rebuild. The organization has delivered more than 22,000 safe nights of rest and served more than 987 families through Hannah's Caring Closet, its free clothing and baby-essentials program. Today, Hannah Center operates residential shelters in both Marshfield and Wisconsin Rapids, along with Kairos Care, a community outreach program connecting women to recovery and stability services. As requests for safe housing, recovery support, and basic family essentials continue across central Wisconsin, the fundraiser will help Hannah Center meet immediate needs while sustaining long-term care for women and children.
Central Wisconsin is invited to be part of the evening. Whether as a guest, a sponsor, or a bidder in the auction, every seat at the table is a vote for what this community believes women in crisis deserve: not just shelter, but a genuine chance at a new beginning.
"Every dollar raised that evening goes to work the very next morning — a woman waking up in a safe bed, a child fed, a family that had nowhere to turn finding a door that opened. That's what this event is really about, and it's why the community's support means everything to us."
