Hannah Center Names Tori Spice as Center Director for Wisconsin Rapids Residence
WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis., October 7, 2025 – Hannah Center Inc. has appointed Tori J. Spice as center director for its Wisconsin Rapids location, overseeing the residential program and community outreach program, Kairos Care.
Spice previously served as a lead advocate at the center and brings experience in communication and human services. As a lead advocate, she helped residents meet their goals, managed crises and coached clients through difficult life transitions. She holds a bachelor's degree in communication studies from the University of Northwestern St. Paul.
"I believe that a center director should serve not only as an administrator, but as a visionary, advocate and servant-leader — someone who ensures day-to-day operations run smoothly while keeping the organization grounded in its mission," Spice said.
Connie Teska, president of Hannah Center's Board of Directors, praised the appointment. "Tori's dedication to our mission and her proven track record as a lead advocate made her the clear choice for this leadership position," Teska said. "Her compassionate approach and commitment to serving our community will strengthen our ability to support women and children in need."
As center director, Spice will oversee daily operations, provide leadership for programs, staff and volunteers, and ensure mission-aligned services. She will supervise staff, manage client admissions and advocacy, and build community relationships for outreach and fundraising efforts. The Center Director role specifically requires organizational skills, compassion, and a strong commitment to restorative and trauma-informed practices.
Before joining Hannah Center, Spice owned Waves of Life Doula Services LLC from 2019 to 2023, where she supported and empowered women during childbirth.
Spice reports to the Board of Directors Executive Committee. Hannah Center serves women and children experiencing homelessness or crisis situations in central Wisconsin.
